Installation
The liferaft can normally be placed on the beam holder of the Mi-8 helicopter, on the specialized holder of the Ka-226 and Ansat helicopters. It can be installed on board any vessel or marine platform by means of a specialized bed. The use of rails allows dropping the liferaft with hands on water from bridges, piers or banks.
The robotized inflatable liferaft is designed to operate in the following modes:
- self-contained, fully automatic mode of search for a person in distress
- manual, working from an air or ground based remote control
