Search and targeting system Kasatka-EP is unified to various types of platforms and can be integrated into ship-based helicopters, short- and long-range patrol aircraft, unmanned aircraft and balloon-based systems.
The presented search and targeting system Kasatka-EP is integrated into the IL-114 patrol aircraft designed to perform different tasks for patrolling air, underwater, surface and ground situations.
Depending on the equipment configuration, the system can be used in the following versions of patrol aircraft: reconnaissance and surveillance aircraft and maritime patrol aircraft.
Tasks solved by Search and Targeting System Kasatka-EP
Deployed on the board the reconnaissance and surveillance aircraft:- Continuous reconnaissance of ground, surface, underwater and air targets in a designated patrol area
- Automatic tracking, position determination and motion parameters of ground, surface, underwater and air targets
- Classification (recognition) of localized targets
- Real-time transmission of service and view information to ground and ship control points
Deployed on the board the maritime patrol aircraft:
- Continuous reconnaissance of ground, surface, underwater and air targets in a designated patrol area
