Benefits
- High degree of automation of measurement, processing of information display in the format of a weather table and graphical form
- Transmission of weather information to consumers via wired and wireless (radio, GSM and satellite) communication channels
- Modular construction of the structure makes it possible to configure the product to solve any hydrometeorological support tasks
Scope
Hydrometeorological support for the Navy and the civil market.
Principle of Operation
Shipborne Hydrometeorological Station Kharakter-K is based on the transformation of meteorological and hydrological parameters into electrical signals and then into digital codes to be subsequently processed, stored and visualized.
Measurement equipment in the configuration of HMS Kharakter-K:
- air temperature and humidity sensor
- wind speed and direction sensor
- atmosphere pressure sensor
- meteorological visibility range sensor
- cloud ceiling sensor
All these sensors are connected to the processor unit that receives, processes and visualizes information on a computer screen or display.
It can be equipped with additional equipment as follows:
- Satellite data reception equipment, reception of cloud image from polar-orbiting weather satellites overlaid on the geographic grid
- Hydrological probe for measuring hydrological values (water pressure and temperature, relative electrical conductivity)
Certification
State Register No. SI 64220-16.
