Benefits
- Fully domestic development and component base
- Reduced weight and size characteristicsand increased corrosion resistance compared to foreign analogues
- Wide range of operating temperatures and operating conditions
- tDesign of the sensor provides quick replacement and rapid adjustment of parameters at the installation sites, which is especially important for ship-based weather stations
Application field
The sensor is used in the configuration of various meteorological condition monitoring systems:
- road weather stations
- ship- and shore-based hydrometeorological stations
- automated airfield weather stations
Principle of Operation
The digital converter transforms the discrete samples received from the anemometer and weather vane into a digital code for measuring channels of wind speed and direction, transmitted via the RS-485 interface to the processor unit.
The sensor contains heating elements mounted in the anemometer and weather vane, which turn on when the temperature drops below 4°C and maintain the necessary operating temperature inside the sensor to prevent ice formation.
