      Purpose

      • high precision measurement and proportional conversion of the measured absolute pressure of liquid gaseous media into a digital binary serial code and transmitting it to the upper level system
      • measurement of outboard pressure at the diving depth of uninhabited underwater vehicles
      • measuring the distribution of pressure fields under the cavity on air-cavity vessels or under the wing of an ekranoplan (WIG)
      • measurement of water level in wells (when connected to the control unit of the atmospheric pressure sensor DADS-1 to compensate for the effect of atmospheric pressure)
      • as piezometers for monitoring the pore pressure of water in the ground

      Scope

      Principle of Operation

      Precision pressure transducers operates based on changing the resonant frequency of vibrations of high-quality quartz resonators with long-term stability of calibration characteristics, under the impact of the measured medium pressure. One control unit allows connecting up to 20 converters with a single cable with information output to the display.

      The display shows simultaneously the pressure information from 4 transducers with a sequential survey of all transducers. With external power supply for pressure transmitters, up to 31 transmitters can be connected to the control unit.
